This light roast—roasted by Bongo Java Roasting Co.—is exclusive to Fido Café and built for everyday drinking. Expect a soft, tea-like body with notes of black tea, orange blossom, and lemon cookie. Bright without being sharp. Comforting without being boring.
Fido opened in 1996 with a simple goal: be a gathering place for all of Nashville. Named after the often-overlooked dog who, according to legend, discovered coffee first, the café became exactly that—and then some.
Over the years, couples met here. Songs were written here. Weddings were hosted here. Parents and kids built morning rituals here. Mission accomplished.
In 2025, we installed a countdown clock announcing Fido’s closing three years later. The realities of operating in a boom town eventually caught up with us. That part is hard. The rest is gratitude. Thank you, Nashville. We’re grateful for it all.
